Awareness and Education

Awareness and Education are the cornerstones of progress. Generating awareness and facilitating the education of endometriosis is essential to reduce diagnostic delay, remove stigma, and improve the short-term and long-term physical, emotional and social outcomes for endo warriors.
At Endometriosis Western Australia, we are committed to providing quality, up-to-date, evidence-based information to people affected by endometriosis, including their family and carers. EndoWA raises awareness and facilitates education via social media campaigns, presence at public events, and private member-based events. We run bi-monthly educational and supportive events for our members, which are often recorded and uploaded to our Youtube Channel for further accessibility.
EndoWA is collaborating with the Pelvic Pain Foundation of Australia and GAIN Inc. to deliver the Periods, Pain and Endometriosis Program (PPEP) in Western Australia. This program is supported by the Federal Government and WA State government and aims to educate high school students on period pain, pelvic pain, endometriosis, and the new neuroscience of pain.
