Support Group
Endometriosis Western Australia began in 2013 as a small local support network for people living with endometriosis in metropolitan Perth. Recognising the value of having access to both a community of people who understand, and peoples’ collective lived experience, peer-based support remains a large part of what the organisation provides. Our Facebook hosted support group is open to all Western Australians with diagnosed or suspected endometriosis, reaching 5,100 members in 2023. Our bimonthly events offer educational and social opportunities, either online via video conferencing or in person.
It can be comforting to have access to a group of people who just “get it”, who can offer advice, or can just listen to you vent without judgement. If you would like to join our online support group you can find us on Facebook. Be sure to answer the screening questions or keep an eye on your Facebook messenger, as all new members are screened to ensure the group remains safe and relevant.
