Share your Insights on Sport Participation in Young People with Chronic Health Conditions

We are conducting a research project exploring the experiences and perspectives of young people with chronic health conditions, their families, and sport providers regarding sport participation.

Project Overview:

In Phase 2 of this study, we are conducting focus groups to identify key considerations for young people with chronic health conditions and their families to engage in community-based sport programs, as well as understand the role of sport providers in supporting participation of young people with chronic health conditions.

Your Participation:

Participation in the focus group involves sharing your experiences and perceived barriers in a supportive and confidential environment. Your input will directly contribute to understanding how sport can be made more accessible and beneficial for young people with chronic health conditions. You do not need to have completed Phase 1 of the study (online survey) to participate in Phase 2.

Time Required:

Focus groups will be run online via Microsoft Teams for up to 90 minutes.

Potential benefits:

You will receive a $30 gift card as compensation for your time and contribution.
