Endometriosis Western Australia’s (EndometriosisWA) vision is to provide people affected by endometriosis with access to the best quality information and support.

These website terms and conditions (Terms & Conditions) apply to the use of this website https://www.endometriosiswa.org.au/  (the Site), operated by EndometriosisWA and the use of resources, links and other materials available on the Site (referred to as Resources). The term ‘you’ refers to the person accessing or using the Site or the Resources, or the company or organisation on whose behalf that person accesses the Site or the Resources.

 

These Terms & Conditions are deemed to incorporate the Site’s privacy policy which explains how EndometriosisWA collects, uses and discloses information that pertains to your privacy (the Privacy Policy), which can be found here and should be read together with these Terms & Conditions.

 

By accessing or using the Site and/or the Resources, you agree that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not accept these Terms & Conditions, you do not have permission to access or use the Site and and/or the Resources.

The Resources available on the Site are provided by EndometriosisWA as a general reference source. Specific Resources by EndometriosisWA are provided in summary form in relation to endometriosis, to raise awareness and provide guidance and education to individuals living with endometriosis, or supporting individuals living with endometriosis. The Resources have been produced by EndometriosisWA for use on the Site by EndometriosisWA.

The Resources:

  • are available to you on the understanding that you will exercise your own skill and care with respect to your use of the Resources; and
  • do not constitute medical advice, are not intended to be a substitute for medical advice, and should not be relied upon as such. You should seek medical advice or other professional advice to any health concerns or particular enquiries you have.

All information provided by EndometriosisWA in its Resources and pursuant to these Terms & Conditions is provided in good faith. EndometriosisWA does not control and is not responsible for the availability, content or privacy practices of any third party websites or material you access through this Site, including the content posted by others on EndometriosisWA’s Facebook page and other social media accounts. The entire contents and design subsisting in, relating to, or arising out of this Site and available through or in connection with this Site including but not limited to copyright, logos, trademarks, designs, text, graphics, images, information, applications and other files, and their selection and arrangement (the Site Content), are the proprietary property of EndometriosisWA, its content providers or its licensors with all rights reserved. You must not do anything, or omit to do anything, which may infringe EndometriosisWA’s intellectual property rights except where expressly authorised in these Terms & Conditions.

No Site Content may be modified, copied, distributed, communicated, framed, reproduced, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted, transmitted, sold, assigned, duplicated, licensed in any form or by any means, in whole or in part, without EndometriosisWA’s prior written consent. In addition, you agree not to use any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction methods in connection with the Site.

EndometriosisWA uses its best endeavours to minimise viruses and bugs from infiltrating the Site, however, due to the nature of the internet the Site may be affected by viruses or bugs from time to time. You must take your own precautions to ensure that the process which you employ for accessing this Site does not expose you to the risk of viruses, malicious computer code or other forms of interference which may damage your own computer system. EndometriosisWA does not accept responsibility for any interference or damage to your own computer system which arises in connection with your use of this Site or any linked website.

Access to this Site and/or the Resources may be terminated at any time by EndometriosisWA without notice. EndometriosisWA’s disclaimer will nevertheless survive any such termination.

EndometriosisWA may update or amend these Terms & Conditions and its Privacy Policy at any time. The then current version of the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy will apply each time you use the Site. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to any changes, you must cease using the Site.

EndometriosisWA accepts no liability for any failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions where such failure is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

If EndometriosisWA waives any rights available to it under these Terms & Conditions on one occasion, this does not mean that those rights will automatically be waived on any other occasion.

If any of these Terms & Conditions are held to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason, the remaining Terms & Conditions will nevertheless continue in full force.

The Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws in force in the State of Western Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
